This month, the team broke free and went to Central Park Newcastle for Flash: A Tribute to Queen. With plenty of singing, dancing and Freddie Mercury impressions, it’s safe to say that we couldn’t stop them (now). It was a kind of magic (we’ll stop now) so to see how we got on, read below.
Starting out with a few drinks before the show, the team enjoyed some wine, beer and cocktails.
Opening the show with a banger, Flash opened with ‘Killer Queen’. Doing our best Freddie Mercury impressions, we managed to hit all the high notes… just about.
Recreating Freddie Mercury’s iconic ‘Ay-Oh!’ moment at Live Aid, Flash got the crowd going.
As the sun went down Flash pulled out one of the highlights of the night, ‘Radio Gaga’. It went down a treat: cue clapping, singing, dancing and jumping.
We are the Champions
Closing the night with ‘We are the Champions’, Flash smashed it. A certified tune, it was impossible for us not to join in.
Whilst we love our office Chill Out space, it’s great to get out and let our hair down. Easy come, easy go, we can’t wait for our next monthly social.
